Temperature Calibration Services

Temperature calibration is performed across a comprehensive range of sensor types, instruments, and thermal environments. All calibration work is conducted under ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation with full NIST traceability and ITS-90 compliance.

Temperature Sensors & Probes

Calibration is available for thermocouples, RTDs and PRTs, thermistors, temperature probes, reference thermometers, digital thermometers, liquid-in-glass thermometers, infrared thermometers, pyrometers, thermal imaging cameras, and bimetal (dial) thermometers. Each sensor type is calibrated against reference standards appropriate to its operating range and required uncertainty.

Thermal Enclosures & Environments

Environmental chambers, ovens, furnaces, freezers, refrigerators, autoclaves, incubators, water baths and circulating baths, and kilns are calibrated through controlled uniformity surveys and setpoint verification. Temperature mapping is performed to characterize spatial variation within these enclosures, ensuring documented compliance with process specifications.

Calibration Equipment & Recording Instruments

Thermocouple and RTD simulator calibration, dry block and dry well calibrator calibration, data logger calibration, chart recorder calibration, temperature controller calibration, and temperature transmitter calibration are each performed to manufacturer specifications or tighter tolerances as required. Certificates of calibration are issued with measurement uncertainties stated at a 95% confidence level.

Calibration appointments are scheduled based on instrument type, quantity, and service location. When a request is submitted, the scope of calibration is defined, applicable procedures are identified, and a confirmed service date is provided. Required documentation—including certificates of calibration, measurement uncertainty statements, and as-found/as-left data—is delivered upon completion of each calibration event.

Routine calibration intervals are managed through recall scheduling, ensuring instruments remain within their calibration due dates. For facilities operating under FDA, USDA, or other regulatory oversight, calibration records are formatted to support audit readiness. Every certificate issued references the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation scope and includes full traceability to NIST standards through an unbroken chain of measurement.
