Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the website at temperature-calibration.com and the quote-coordination services provided through it. By using the site or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms.
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
1. Description of Service
Temperature Calibration Specialists operates a lead-coordination platform that connects requesters of temperature calibration services with independent, third-party calibration providers. Temperature Calibration Specialists is not itself a calibration laboratory, does not hold its own ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation scope, and does not directly perform the calibration work referenced on the site. All calibration work described on this site is performed by independent, third-party calibration laboratories that carry their own accreditation scopes and quality systems.
Content on this site — including references to ISO/IEC 17025, A2LA, NIST traceability, and ITS-90 compliance — describes the work performed by the accredited laboratories in the provider network, not a credential held by Temperature Calibration Specialists. Requests submitted through the site are routed to one or more independent providers who are able to perform the specific service requested in the geographic area indicated.
2. Work Performed by Independent Providers
All calibration work is performed by independent accredited calibration laboratories operating under their own ISO/IEC 17025 quality management systems. Calibration certificates, measurement uncertainty statements, and any other documentation issued in connection with a calibration are issued by the performing laboratory, not by Temperature Calibration Specialists. Any contract for calibration services, along with associated warranties, turnaround commitments, pricing, and recourse, exists between the end customer and the performing laboratory. Temperature Calibration Specialists is not a party to that contract.
3. Provider Vetting & No Warranty
Providers included in the network are reviewed against published criteria that include current ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, NIST-traceable reference standards, and demonstrated technical competence in the relevant measurement discipline. However, this review is not a substitute for the customer's own due diligence. Temperature Calibration Specialists makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, suitability, fitness for a particular purpose, or regulatory acceptance of any calibration work performed by providers in the network.
The site and the quote-coordination service are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Temperature Calibration Specialists disclaims all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
4. Customer Responsibility
The customer is responsible for:
- Describing the instruments to be calibrated accurately, including manufacturer, model, measurement range, and accuracy requirements;
- Communicating any applicable regulatory, quality-system, or industry-specific requirements (for example, FDA 21 CFR Part 211, AMS 2750, CQI-9, IATF 16949, AS9100) to the performing laboratory before work begins;
- Reviewing the issued calibration certificate upon receipt and reporting any discrepancies to the performing laboratory within the window specified in that laboratory's terms;
- Maintaining the customer's own calibration schedule, recall program, and records for regulatory compliance purposes.
5. Industry-Specific Disclaimers
Temperature calibration is used across regulated industries — including pharmaceuticals, aerospace, medical devices, food processing, and cold chain distribution — where regulatory frameworks impose specific requirements for instrument calibration, documented uncertainty, and recordkeeping. The customer is solely responsible for confirming that a given calibration event satisfies the customer's specific regulatory obligations. Descriptions on this site of standards such as AMS 2750, CQI-9, FDA 21 CFR Part 211, WHO TRS 961 Annex 9, USP <1079>, or 21 CFR Part 11 are provided for general informational purposes and do not constitute legal, regulatory, or compliance advice.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will Temperature Calibration Specialists, its affiliates, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, lost data, production downtime, regulatory penalties, or reputational harm — arising out of or related to use of the site, submission of a quote request, or any calibration work performed by a provider contacted through the site. The aggregate liability of Temperature Calibration Specialists arising from or related to these Terms will not exceed one hundred United States dollars (US$100).
7. Indemnification
The customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Temperature Calibration Specialists and its affiliates from and against any third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable attorneys' fees — arising out of or related to (a) the customer's use of the site, (b) the customer's submission of inaccurate or misleading information, (c) any contract formed between the customer and a calibration provider, or (d) the customer's breach of these Terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The site content, design, text, graphics, and code are owned by Temperature Calibration Specialists or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Content may be viewed for personal, non-commercial use. Reproduction, distribution, or derivative works are prohibited without prior written permission. Third-party marks referenced on the site — including ISO, IEC, A2LA, NIST, and ILAC — are the property of their respective owners and are used only to describe the standards to which calibration is performed.
